    1. The incredible true story of mercy, sacrifice, and forgiveness makes this films a great community outreach event.
    2. The popularity of its cast and its high production value allow the film’s message to impact high school or college age groups.
    3. The historical WWII setting creates the opportunity for an event to honor those who have given their lives to protect our country.
    4. This movie can also be used as a unique fundraising event for your organization.
The Director’s Cut has not yet released on DVD and is only available to churches and organizations through this exclusive theatrical platform.

HOW IT WORKS

The process begins by signing up to become a Point Person Click here. After that, a staff member will contact you and walk you through the process. You can also read all about it here:
    1. Pick a date that you’d like to have the movie in your town. Movies open on Fridays and stay in theaters until the following Thursday. The earliest date for a theater release of TEAW is April 22nd (need at least 4 weeks advance notice)

    2. Fill out and sign the Point Person agreement Click here. This will start the process of getting the movie placed in your local theater

    3. Don’t go it alone! Gather a support team around you who can help get the word out and create mini events to sell tickets. This can be done through:

    a. Church bulletin announcements or our flyer in your bulletin
    b. Posting movie posters at your church or organization
    c. Showing the trailer and having your pastor or leader make an announcement. You can then host a table to sell tickets in your lobby or outside after the service.

    d. Sending out an email blast to your church or organization’s database.

    e. Contacting local Christian businesses and/or other churches to purchase blocks of tickets from you. Some businesses may want to buy them and give them away to customers or employees.

    3. With your group, plan a community-wide outreach or fundraising event that culminates around the film. Going to a theater is much less intimidating for most people than attending a Sunday morning service. Rally around the cause of forgiveness and redemption.
    4. Go to the TEAW Facebook page and share the trailer with your friends, family, co-workers and everyone you know!
We are here to support you with resources, information about theater group ticket discounts, and ideas to help make To End All Wars an outstanding event for your community. We will provide you with the following:
    • A poster and flyer that you can print or email as pdf files. We also have printed posters that we can mail to you.
    • The TEAW trailer
    • An email template that you can send to your organization’s database, along with your friends and family
    • A press release for your local newspaper
    • Ad art for local advertising
    • In special cases, we will provide you with a watermarked screener to show to your prospective recruits to help you further promote this in your community.
It’s a big task to take on, no doubt, but we can help you every step of the way by pointing you to all of the available resources, and by coming up with a strategy to involve other people with whom you could collaborate. We look forward to helping you bring a film with a message of forgiveness and redemption to your community!

Frequently Asked Questions

We've answered the most commonly asked questions below. If you still have a question, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to get you an answer. Click on the questions below to view answers.

1. How long will the movie stay in my theater?

That depends on how many people come to see it during that opening week. Theaters will hold over a movie for another week as long as it is selling well. Once the movie is set to open, however, it stays for one week, starting on Friday through the following Thursday.

2. Can I set my own show times?

No. Individual theaters set show times based on other films playing during that week.

3. Where and when do I buy the actual tickets?

Blocks of tickets can be purchased from the actual theater, or through Group Sales. Tickets can be purchased about one week prior to opening Friday, or possibly even further in advance, depending on the theater.

4. How much do ticket cost through Group Sales?

Every theater is different. The price could go from $6 per ticket up to $10 in a major city. Generally, we’ve seen it rest around the $6-$9 range.

5. When buying blocks of tickets, will I buy them for the same date and show
    time, or can they vary?

To get the group discount rate, you will need to buy blocks of tickets for specific show times. Most theaters start at a minimum of blocks of 40 or more for the discount rate.

6. The thought of raising money to purchase 500 tickets is overwhelming.
Do you have suggestions on how to do that?

Yes! One straightforward way is to sell tickets after a church service or organizational event, and then hand out “vouchers” or keep a list of names. With that money, you can then purchase the actual tickets from the theater. Those tickets can then be handed out in front of the theater before the show, or after a church service. By buying out a show time, you can create an impactful outreach event through your church or organization, or create a successful fundraising event.

7. If I pick a theater, will it get placed there or somewhere else?

In most cases, you will get the theater of your choice. If a different theater is picked, it is generally due to the size of the theater and number of available screens.

8. If I sign the agreement, am I financially liable for the 500 tickets?

While not legally binding, signing the agreement shows us that you are serious about bringing the movie to your town. It is a pact between you and WingCinema that you will
purchase the 500 tickets.

9. What happens if I don’t sell all 500 tickets? Will the movie still come to
    my town?

Once we work with our distributor to put the movie in your town, there is no going back, and the movie will open in your theater. We will work hand in hand with you during the processto provide you with resources and ideas that will help you re-sell the tickets, or to come up with fundraising ideas and provide them as giveaways.

10. Is there anything that WingCinema can do to help spread the word in
      my area?

Yes! Once a theater is secured, we can send out an email blast to our database in your area with contact information for our staff. We will then put them in touch with you. This will aid in your effort to both get the word out and get tickets sold.

11. Can I use TEAW as a fundraiser?

Yes. The most effective way to do this is by selling the tickets at a higher price than what they cost. For example, if the group discount rate ticket costs $6.00, you could sell them for $10.00, and then use the extra money for your cause. You will need to advertise the event as a fundraiser so that all participants know that part of their purchase is contributing to your specific fundraising project.

12. Is TEAW appropriate for all audiences?

No. This is a powerful depiction of actual events of a true story. It is not recommended for young children.
